A handcrafted rainstick with a soft and soothing sound

Handcrafted in our workshop in Montpellier, France, the 48 cm rainstick is the smallest model in our collection. Also known as a rain stick, this wooden sound instrument is made from mahogany and recreates the natural, soothing sound of falling rain.

Its sound is soft, clear and crystalline, with a sound duration of approximately 5 minutes. Each rainstick is carefully crafted to produce a smooth, natural and soothing sound. Because every instrument is individually handmade, each rainstick has its own subtle sound characteristics and nuances.

Designed for quiet environments and individual use

Thanks to its compact size and gentle sound, the 48 cm rainstick is particularly well suited to individual use and quiet environments.

It can be used naturally for:

• massage and wellness treatments;

• individual meditation;

• mindfulness and quiet moments;

• sensory and musical exploration for children;

• creating a peaceful atmosphere at bedtime.

Its 48 cm format makes the rainstick easy to handle and particularly suitable for use in a treatment room, bedroom, meditation space or other quiet environment.

For group use or larger spaces, we recommend a larger model such as the 68 cm rainstick. Its larger size produces a fuller, more present and immersive sound that is better suited to being heard by several people.

Handmade instrument crafted from carefully selected materials

Each rainstick is handcrafted with particular attention to the choice of materials and the quality of every stage of production. From the wood we use to the cork produced and processed in France, and the natural varnish we make in our own workshop, every element is carefully selected to create an instrument that is pleasant to use, durable, and true to the craftsmanship of Atelier Mickaël Amant.

A natural finish made in our workshop

Because every detail matters, we developed our own fully natural wood finish, made in our workshop. It protects the mahogany while preserving its natural appearance and pleasant feel.

The finish is designed without substances that are harmful to indoor air quality, making the rainstick suitable for use in homes, meditation spaces, massage rooms and other indoor environments. Its smooth surface provides a pleasant feel when handled.
