5-minute Rain Pillar – ebony finish

The most compact model, designed for attentive listening

At 48 cm, this is the smallest Rain Pillar in the collection.

Its subtle sound is best appreciated in a quiet environment, where the finer details of the falling rain remain clearly audible.

It is particularly suited to one or two listeners who want the sound of rain without the greater acoustic presence of the larger models.

At least 5 minutes of continuous rain sound

Simply turn the instrument over to begin the gradual internal flow.

The sound continues for at least 5 minutes, with no power supply, settings or intervention required during listening.

This format can accompany meditation, massage, relaxation, sensory exploration or simply a quiet moment focused on sound.

For group use or environments with more background noise, a larger Rain Pillar will generally be better suited.

An ebony finish for a darker visual character

A Rain Pillar is both a musical instrument and an object that remains visible in the room. The finish therefore allows the instrument to be chosen according to its visual character without changing its sound.

This version features an ebony finish. The name describes its external appearance and does not mean that the instrument itself is made from solid ebony.

Its dimensions, duration, operating principle and acoustic characteristics remain those of the 5-minute Rain Pillar.

A handcrafted rainstick made in Montpellier

Each instrument is handcrafted in our workshop in Montpellier using wood, cork, silica, seeds and natural fibres.

The cork is produced and processed in France, and the natural varnish is also made directly in the workshop.

Because both the veneer and the finishing work involve natural materials and handcrafting, slight visual variations may occur from one piece to another.
